Setting up Denon AVR IP Integration on Haptique RS90
Integrate your Denon AVR with IP control on RS90 and manage multiple AVRs across rooms.
Follow this step‑by‑step guide to add and control your Denon AVR through the Haptique Config App for a seamless home theater experience.
1 Prerequisites
- Ensure both your Denon AVR and the phone running the Haptique Config App are connected to the same network (Wi‑Fi or LAN).
- Make sure your Denon AVR is powered on.
- Disable DHCP on the AVR and set a manual IP address via its network settings.
2 Open Device Pool
- Launch the Haptique Config App on your mobile device.
- Tap the Device Pool tab from the main screen.
3 Add a New Device
- Tap the “+” icon on the Device Pool screen.
- Scroll to find the Denon section.
- Tap the “+” icon next to the Denon label.
4 Auto‑Discovery & Connection
- Tap Connect to begin automatic discovery of Denon AVR devices.
- Wait a few seconds for the scan to complete.
- Select your AVR from the list when it appears.
- Optionally, rename the device.
- Tap Save to add it to your Device Pool.
5 Adding Multiple Denon AVRs
- To add more AVRs, repeat the process by tapping the “+” icon again in the Denon section.
- Use discovery and naming steps for each AVR to differentiate them easily.
6 Assign to Rooms
- Return to the Dashboard.
- Tap the Room tab to assign each Denon AVR to the desired room.
7 Troubleshooting Auto‑Discovery
- Verify Network Connection
- Ensure the AVR and phone are on the same network.
- Restart the AVR, router, or phone if needed.
- Add Device Manually
- If discovery fails, tap Add Manually.
- Find the AVR’s IP address via its Network Settings.
- Enter the IP address into the app’s manual entry field.
- Assign a device name and tap Submit.
