Efficient API Integration for Direct Control

By leveraging the Philip Hue Local API, the Haptique®RS90 & RS90x establishes a direct connection with the Hue Bridge. The Hue Bridge acts as the hub for controlling all Hue lights, and this integration allows for instantaneous control of your lightening environment. The setup process involves securely pairing the Hue Bridge with the Haptique® Config app, ensuring that only authorized devices can manage the lighting system. This streamlined and secure process enhances the overall user experience, providing precise control over the entire lighting setup directly from the Haptique®RS90 & RS90x.

1. Connection Setup
   

   To begin the integration process, the Haptique®RS90 & RS90x establishes a connection with the Hue Bridge via the Haptique® Config app.

   • Open the Haptique® Config app and navigate to the Device Pool section, then select Add Device.
   • Choose Philips Hue by clicking on the hue logo to initiate the setup.
   • You'll prompted to press the physical button on the Hue Bridge, placing the Bridge in pairing mode, allowing it to broadcast the necessary authentication signal for secure pairing.
2. Authentication Broadcast and Approval
   

   Once the Hue Bridge button is pressed, it sends an authentication request detected by the Haptique® Config app. The app then transmits a secure connection request to the Bridge, ensuring that only authenticated devices can control your lights.

   • Upon receiving the authentication request, the Haptique® Config app submits an access request to control all connected Hue devices.
   • After approval either through the app or automatically via the Hue Bridge, the Haptique® system gains full access to all the lights and switches.

   The Hue Bridge manages communication between your lighting devices and the Haptique®RS90 & RS90x, making the apiring process secure and efficient.

3. Device Discovery and Control
   

   After authentication, the Haptique® Config app retrieves comprehensive information about all devices connected to the Hue Bridge, including their lights, switches, sensors.

   Haptique® RS90 & RS90x enhances its role as a powerful tool for smart home automation, giving users immediate and seamless control over their lights from anywhere within their home.
