1 Prerequisites

Before you begin, confirm the following:

• Both your Roku device and the phone running the Haptique Config App are on the same local network (Wi‑Fi or LAN).
• Your Roku device is powered on.
• Manual IP mode is enabled on your Roku (disable DHCP) in its network settings.

2 Open Device Pool

1. Launch the Haptique Config App on your mobile device.
2. Tap the Device Pool tab from the main screen.

3 Add a New Device

1. Tap the “+” icon on the Device Pool screen.
2. Scroll to find the Roku section.
3. Tap the “+” icon next to the Roku label.

4 Auto‑Discovery & Connection

1. Tap Connect to begin automatic discovery of Roku devices.
2. Wait a few seconds for the scan to complete.
3. When your Roku appears in the list, tap on it.
4. Optionally, rename the device.
5. Tap Save to add it to your Device Pool.

5 Assign to Rooms

1. Return to the Dashboard.
2. Open the Room tab and assign your Roku to a room for organized control.

6 Troubleshooting Auto‑Discovery

If the scan doesn’t find your Roku, try these steps:

1. Verify Network Connection
   • Ensure both the Roku and your phone are on the same Wi‑Fi network.
   • Restart the Roku, router, or your mobile device if needed.
2. Add Device Manually
   • If auto‑discovery fails, an Add Manually button appears — tap it.
   • On the Roku, find its IP address via Network Settings.
   • Enter that IP address into the app’s manual entry field.
   • Assign a device name and tap Submit.

• From the device tile, press and hold to open Roku‑specific controls.
• Use rooms and macros to combine Roku actions with other devices for streamlined workflows.
